Creamy Sweet Potato Smoothie

  • 1 medium size peeled potato (streamed or roasted)
  • 1/4 cup of orange juice
  • 1/2 cup of greek yogurt (plain or vanilla flavored)
  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk (or any dairy free milk)
  • 1 ripe banana (frozen, for sweetness)
  • 1-2 tbsp of honey (adjust to taste for sweetness)
  • 1 cup of ice cubes (optional, for a colder smoothie)



  • Take a high speed blender, add alll the ingredients and blend in a high speed until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust flavor as needed, adding more orange juice for hue flavor, add more yogurt for creaminess, add more ice cubes for a colder smoothie.
  • Optionally, garnish your smoothie with a handful of frozen ripe banana for an extra burst of flavor and creaminess.
  • Serve in to two galasses. Serve immediately for best taste and refrigerate up to 24 hours.
