  • 2 cups of water
  • 2-3 medjool dates
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp of sea salt (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1/2 cup ofice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

Preparation:
  • It’s important to soak the almonds (or cashews) to soften them, reduce phytic acid, and make a creamier, easier-to-digest nut milk.

Blend:

  • Once soaked, drain and rinse almonds and transfer to a high speed blender along with 2 cups of water, 2-3 medjool dates, 1 tsp of vanilla extract and 1/4 cup of brown sugar.
  • Add the ice cubes (optional) to the blender to keep the creamer chilled.
  • Blend all the ingredients on high speed until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency. This typically takes 1-2 minutes.

Serve and Garnish:

  • Optionally, garnish with crushed almonds for an extra burst of flavor and aroma.
  • Pour the dairy free coffee creamer into serving glasses.
  • Serve in to two galasses. Serve immediately for best taste and refrigerate up to 4 days.
