Peanut Butter Green Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 2 small  ripe bananas (sliced or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup wild frozen blueberries (organic when possible)
  • 1 cup spinach (organic when possible)
  • 1 cup cauliflower (either raw or frozen)
  • 3/4 -1 cup dairy free milk
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 1 tbsp ashwagandha
  • 1 tbsp spirulina
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter

 

Toppings:

  • Oil free Granola
  • Rawnola

 

Peanut Butter Green Smoothie

 

Instructions:

  • Add all the ingredients (bananas, blueberries, spinach, cauliflower, dairy free milk, maca powder, ashwagandha, spirulina, hemp seeds, and peanut butter) to a high speed blender.
  • Blend on low/medium and use the blender wand to push ingredients around.
  • Add a little bit more coconut milk in a small increments until creamy and smooth. For thicker smoothie bowl, add less milk.
  • Taste flavour and adjust if desired, adding more peeanut butter for saltness or banana for sweetness.
  • Divide between serving bowls and garnish with toppings of choice. We went the ranwola, and more frozen blueberries.
  • Best when fresh. Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
