Introduction:

The Refreshing Creamsicle Smoothie, a classic frozen treat that combines the creamy goodness of vanilla ice cream with the tangy zing of citrus, has long been a favorite on hot summer days. Now, imagine capturing that same delightful flavor experience in a refreshing and healthful beverage – the Refreshing Creamsicle Smoothie.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup of freshly squeeze orange juice
  • 2 tsp of honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk (or any dairy free milk)
  • 1 pinch black pepper (optional)

 

Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup of greek yogurt (plain or vanilla flavored) for creaminess
  • 1/4 cup of ice cubes (optional) for a thicker texture

 

Refreshing Creamsicle Smoothie

 

Instructions:

  • Take a high speed blender, add all the ingredients and blend in a high speed until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust flavor as needed, If you preferred cold smoothie then add ice cubes, and greeek yogurt for a ceaminess.
  • Divide into two glasses and enjoy.
  • Enjoy smoothie best when fresh, though leftovers will keep covered in refrigerator up to 2 days.
